A ‘war’ is brewing between the Indo-Pak couple of Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik ahead of next week’s high-voltage World Cup semi-final between India and arch-rivals Pakistan in Mohali.

Sahara India on Wednesday announced its association with tennis star Sania Mirza. As part of the association, Sania will don Sahara logo while playing in tournaments.

Sania Mirza on Monday said she had recovered from a “career-threatening” injury with help from cricketer Yuvraj Singh.

A beaming Mirza was delighted to be back on court after the painful wrist problem that forced her out of the Beijing Olympics in tears and left her unable to perform even such simple functions as lifting a fork for eating.
