Somdev Devvarman moved up seven places in the latest ATP rankings to attain a career high ranking of no.124 in the world. This is Somdev’s third tryst with the 120s, having started the year just outside the top 200s, the Indian ace climbed up to 129 in June and then 127 in July before sliding down to the 160s in August.

Sania Mirza crashed out of Ordina Open, going down in straight sets to Michaella Krajicek in the second round of women’s singles in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

Sania lost to the local favourite 2-6, 2-6 in almost an hour.
