She’s made a comeback on the court by winning major tournaments and her ranking has taken a jump – currently she’s world no. 76 (singles) and World No. 29 (doubles). Sania Mirza on Thursday advocated resumption of bilateral cricketing ties between India and Pakistan, saying such a move can help in improving relations between the two countries.

The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is set to invite Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza for a women’s exhibition match in the proposed Indo-Pak tennis series at the Wagah Border.

The PTF revealed that Mirza would also be invited for a ladies’ exhibition match along with the planned ‘Peace Match’ between the Indo-Pak Express- Aisamul Haq Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna.
