Sunitha Rao is the second highest ranked Indian woman tennis player and though she’s yet to win a title, the sponsors and the fans certainly think she’s ready to make the transitition to the big league in a couple of seasons.

This week there are no big changes at the top 100 of the WTA Women Tennis… the only change in the top 50 is that Alysa Kleybanova is up one place to 32nd while Alona Bondarenko felt 1 place to 33rd.

India’s Prakash Amritraj and Somdev Dev Varman are fighting a close race to occupy the position of country’s top singles player in Association of Tennis Professional (ATP) rankings.

Though Somdev is still ahead of Prakash by six places at 204, he dropped three rungs in the current ranking released Monday.
