Sania Mirza the cynosure of tennis lovers, reached the fourth round of a Grand Slam tournament at the 2005 U.S Open, thus maintaining a high standard in all variants of the game. Among her several notable achievements, one that has been etched indelibly in the memory of tennis lovers is her impressive win over number two seeds Lisa Raymond and Samantha Stosur at the 2007 U.S Open.
