Sania Mirza’s first doubles title of the year has helped her move up nine spots to 59th in the WTA rankings issued on Monday.

In singles, however, Sania remained at 100th position with 652 points. Meanwhile, in the ATP rankings, Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi were unmoved at the sixth and 10th spots, respectively.

Somdev Dev Varman gained a spot from last week’s No.150 on the strength of his good showing in the ATP Challenger event in US.
