The Mirzas added that the wedding wouldn’t take place for some time, and that their daughter’s commitment to her tennis was total. Sania Mirza also has the full backing of Mohammed.

“I’ve always supported her in whatever she wanted to do,” said Mohammed, who’ll pursue his MBA at the University of Warwick in England. “She’s an incredibly talented player and she has handled her life with amazing grace. I’ll cheer her on for as long as she wants to play.”
