New Delhi: Google announced its India Zeitgeist, a look at 2008 through the collective eyes of the Indian users on the web.

In the entertainment category not only is Katrina Kaif the face that geeks love most — as she is the most searched for Bollywood actor — she is also two notches above Salman Khan who in turn is five notches ahead Shah Rukh Khan .

Sania Mirza most googled Indian sportsperson

New Delhi: There was little to cheer for in 2008 for Sania Mirza. A wrist injury saw her miss a number of tournaments and her ranking fell out of the top 100. But Sania has recovered and is getting ready for the Australian Open. She spoke to CNN-IBN about being conferred with a ‘Doctor of Letters’ (Honoris Causa) by the MGR Educational and Research Institute University in Chennai, Sachin Tendulkar and her comeback plans.

Tendulkar happiest and healthiest, says poll

Cricket superstar Sachin Tendulkar was on Wednesday named in a poll as India’s happiest and healthiest role model for youngsters.

“I will cherish this compliment forever,” Tendulkar said in health magazine ‘Complete Wellbeing’ which carried the poll conducted by global research firm Synovate.

WTA rankings do not bother Sania
