The family of the Indian tennis star Sania Mirza dismissed as rumours the buzz that she may not stay at the Commonwealth Games Village.

While the international stars have started coming to Games Village, the latest buzz at the sprawling athletes’ facility was that Indian tennis stars Sania and Mahesh Bhupathi may not stay there.

A local court on Saturday adjourned till November 11 the hearing in the three cases against tennis player Sania Mirza for allegedly insulting national anthem during a function two years ago.

Three separate cases were filed against Sania Mirza, 23, for allegedly insulting national anthem under The Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act 1971, on November 8, 2008, the prosecution said.
