Sania Mirza will make her tennis comeback with the $600,000 Aegon Classic tennis in Birmingham. The Indian tennis ace who recently married cricketer Shoaib Malik has been out of court after Dubai Open in February. She had complained of wrist pain during the game and was advised a six-week rest.

Sania Mirza will return to competitive tennis at the WTA event that starts June 7 in Birmingham after a more than three month-long injury break during which she got married to Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik. “For everyone asking, my next tournament is in Birmingham, followed by Wimbledon next month,” Sania wrote on Twitter. Sania last played competitive tennis in February.

Newly-wed Sania Mirza will return to competitive tennis at a WTA event starting on June 7 in Birmingham after a more than three-month gap during which she got married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik.

Pakistani advertising agencies are busy doing consumer research for their clients to gauge Sania Mirza’s acceptability as their brand ambassador, a report of the Economic Times stated.
Both Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik seem to be the flavour of the season for Pakistani companies.
